Why Peer-Reviewed Highlights?
Bridge the Gap: Presentation to Practice
Practitioners may not realize that news article content is based primarily on abstracts and not upon the review of full data sets. The actual data behind late-breaking clinical trials and other presentions is often not revealed until the live presentation – and these studies may not be published in the academic literature for some time to come.
MD Conference Express fills the gap between live presentation and publication in the academic literature by applying the rigorous standard of peer-review to the creation of our medical conference highlights reports. On average, more than 20 world leaders (in consultation with the scientific steering commitee) test, challenge, and critique each report prior to publication. Together, they check for appropriate presentation of scientific data, remove any bias from the articles, and ensure the most important elements of the sessions are included.
